University of Texas at San Antonio North Paseo Building

About the Project

The University of Texas at San Antonio North Paseo Building is an academic research building with over 175,000 sqft of space. Lining the roof of the education building are CS Horizontal Sunshades. Providing shade for the interior of the building, these sunshades excel in reducing direct sunlight to increase facility sustainability and subsequently interior comfort. By collaborating with CS, designers were able to effectively limit the harsh Texas sun from compromising the internal environment, making the building more efficient and sustainable for students and staff.
