About the Project

88 Walker Street is a striking 50‑storey mixed‑use tower that now stands as the tallest building in North Sydney.

It combines a 252‑room four‑star hotel, high‑quality commercial offices and retail amenities, all built above the heritage‑listed former Firehouse Hotel — a rare feat of modern development meeting heritage preservation.

For this project, CS supplied the high‑performance, storm‑resistant horizontal‑blade louvres model PL‑5700 louvre across the tower. These louvres were selected for their ability to deliver reliable ventilation and rain defence in challenging Sydney conditions, while blending into the building’s sleek facade so the tower retains a refined and cohesive appearance.

The result is a landmark address that delivers on all fronts — heritage respect, skyline presence, hotel comfort, commercial flexibility and engineering rigour. 88 Walker Street showcases how thoughtful specification and design collaboration can produce a high‑rise that meets demanding functional, aesthetic and environmental standards.
