About the Project

The Salesforce Transit Center, a 3-story transportation hub located in the San Francisco Bay Area, grants public transportation access directly at the heart of the city. This transportation hub features a miraculous 3 story design, including a first-level bus plaza, a second-level bus deck, and a third-level 5.4-acre recreational park. Throughout the entire structure, CS’ own innovative Expansion Joint Solutions can be spotted. These Expansion Joint Covers allow architects to design a flexible structure that accommodates natural movement, an essential function in modern construction. With CS Expansion Joint Solutions, the building now has the capacity to adapt to changing elements and shifting ground conditions, while ensuring that any gaps within the structure are properly covered, enabling the continuous movement of people even in times of disaster.
