About the Project

Serving 93 non-stop destinations, the Tampa International Airport provides aerial transportation access for over 20 million passengers a year. Publicly owned by the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, the airport resides nearly 6 miles west of Downtown Tampa, Florida. Architects of this project incorporated CS’ Expansion Joint Solutions to allocate fluctuation within the structure. By using CS’ Expansion Joint Solutions, Tampa International can ensure the uninterrupted movement of people, simultaneously permitting the structural flexibility required to meet modern design standards.
