Antelope Valley College

About the Project

Located in Lancaster, California, Antelope Valley College is a public community college with an enrollment of roughly 3,000 students a year. Attached to the college’s Health and Science building are CS Sun Control Solutions. These sun controls were implemented into the design as a way to functionally reduce sunlight from entering the building while adding an element of architectural excellence to the exterior. The collaboration with CS gave designers the ability to not only increase building functionality but visual appeal as well, demonstrating a blend of form and function.
