About the Project

Miami Dade College is the largest university in the Florida college system with 8 campuses and over 100,000 students. Located on the exterior of the Eduardo J. Padron Campus, CS’ Vertical Sunshades are being used to reduce the amount of sunlight entering the building which will increase both building sustainability and interior comfort. Designers often incorporate sunshades into building designs for both aesthetic and functional purposes, providing a unique architectural element while also offering protection from the sun's rays.
