About the Project

SUNY Polytechnic Institute is part of the State University of New York higher education system and is located in Utica, New York. Mounted to the exterior facade, CS Airfoil bladed sun controls were installed to be a solution against the direct sunlight that enters the building. By reducing the sunlight that enters the facility, designers were able to create a more comfortable environment while increasing sustainability. The addition of sun controls not only reduces direct sunlight but also adds an extraordinary design element to the exterior facade, showcasing our ability to create solutions in the education market.
